Each year, Friends of Berthoud Pass (FOBP) offers 20+ free 2.5-hour introductory avalanche awareness classes across the Colorado Front Range, with over a thousand attendees every winter. In mid-winter, we then provide full-day avalanche awareness classes on Berthoud Pass. Learn more about what we do here. 

FOBP is a  501(c)(3) non-profit made up of backcountry enthusiasts committed to preserving the legacy of public recreation at Berthoud Pass. Our funding comes from generous donations from local supporters.
